HEIC to PDF

Turn iPhone HEIC photos into a PDF, one file or one per photo.

or drag and drop files here

Your files are processed on this device and never uploaded.

Turn HEIC photos into a PDF, free. If your iPhone saved a document, receipt or form as HEIC, you can put it straight into a PDF without converting it first. Add the photos, set the order, choose A4, Letter or fit to image, and decide whether you want one PDF or one PDF per photo. It works in browsers that can open HEIC, such as Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac. The PDF is built on your own device, so your photos are never uploaded.

Why make a PDF from HEIC with us

No separate conversion step

Drop the HEIC photos in and get a PDF out. You do not have to turn them into JPG files first and then convert again.

One PDF or one per photo

Combine every photo into a single multi-page PDF, or get a separate PDF for each picture when the documents are unrelated.

Choose the page order

Drag the thumbnails into sequence so a multi-page form or a set of receipts reads in the right order.

A4, Letter or fit to image

Pick a standard paper size for printing, or let each page match its photo exactly, with portrait or landscape and a margin of none, small or large.

Private by design

Your browser decodes the photos and writes the PDF itself. No server sees a thing, which matters for IDs, contracts and medical papers.

Honest about browser support

HEIC can only be read by some browsers. When yours cannot, you get a clear message and a pointer to Safari rather than an empty PDF.

How do I convert HEIC to PDF on iPhone?

Open this page in Safari, tap the box and choose your photos from the library or Files. Reorder the thumbnails if you need to, pick a page size and tap “Create PDF”. The finished file is saved to your phone, ready to attach to an email or upload to a portal.

HEIC is the default format of the iPhone camera, so a photo of a receipt, a signed letter or a school form is probably a HEIC file already. Many forms demand a PDF and reject photos. Doing the conversion here saves you a trip to a computer.

Tip: Photograph documents flat, in good light, and fill the frame. A straight photo makes a cleaner PDF, and “fit to image” will keep it without borders.

Should I make one PDF or one PDF per photo?

Choose One PDF when the photos belong together, such as the pages of one contract or a set of receipts for an expense claim. Everything is in a single file, in the order you arranged.

Choose One PDF per photo when each picture is its own document, for example a passport page, a utility bill and a bank letter that go to different places. You get one PDF for each, so you do not need to split a big file afterwards.

  • Sending to one person? One PDF is easier to attach.
  • Uploading to separate fields? One per photo avoids splitting later.
  • Printing? Use A4 or Letter with a small margin.
  • Viewing on a phone? Fit to image keeps every photo uncropped.

What if my browser cannot open HEIC?

HEIC is Apple’s photo format, and not every browser can read it. Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac can, and this tool works there. In a browser that cannot, the page tells you right away, so you are never left with a blank or broken PDF.

In that case, open the page in Safari, or move the photos to an Apple device. If you already have JPG or PNG files, the JPG to PDF tool handles those in any modern browser.

Is it safe to convert HEIC photos to PDF online?

Yes. The page loads online, but the work happens inside your browser. Your photos are decoded and placed in the PDF on your device, and they are never sent to a server or kept after you leave. That makes it suitable for ID photos, signed forms and medical papers.

You can confirm it by watching the network panel in your browser while you create a PDF. No image data is uploaded. The only thing that travels is the page itself.

Questions answered

Can I make a PDF directly from HEIC photos?

Yes. Add the HEIC photos and click Create PDF. There is no need to convert them to JPG first.

What is the difference between One PDF and One PDF per photo?

One PDF puts all photos into a single document, one per page, in the order you set. One PDF per photo gives you a separate file for each picture, downloaded together as a ZIP.

Why does it say my browser cannot read HEIC?

Only some browsers can decode HEIC. Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac can. If you use another browser, open this page in Safari or on an Apple device.

Will the PDF lose photo quality?

The photos are placed in the PDF at their full detail, so the file is about as big as the pictures you add. If it is too large to send, compress it afterwards.

How do I turn a HEIC receipt or form into a PDF on my iPhone?

Open this page in Safari, pick the photo from your library, choose A4, and tap Create PDF. The file is saved to your phone, free and without a watermark.

Are my HEIC photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is created by your browser on your own device, so the pictures never reach a server and nothing is stored.
